Ré, a natural space
Vineyards, forests, salt marshes or oyster farms, all the natural spaces of the island are protected. Each one is calling you to visit, to discovery and serenity. The greatest heritage of the island is without doubt its nature which provides opportunities for wonderfully interesting visits, l’Ecomusée du marais salant telling the story of the white Gold, and also the Maison du Platin. You can also discover the nature reserve of Lilleau des Niges and many other treasures.

Numerous wide beaches stretch along the south of the island. Heading towards the North, the yacht harbours and commercial streets offer wonderful attractions. Everywhere on the island you will find shows, art galleries, nautical sports clubs, swimming, horse riding, itineraries for hiking and cycling, etc.

The land of the Isle de Ré is abundant with riches: the vine (the Pineau, the Cognac, etc…), fresh vegetables, salt, fish and sea food, oysters and many other treasures will satisfy the most demanding palate. And of course, the traditional markets and typical little restaurants will make each one of your meals a real feast….
